The Monarch Program

Music and Mental health

The monarch butterfly symbolizes endurance, migration, resilience and navigating difficult journeys.

Monarchs travel thousands of miles despite fragility. That metaphor aligns with learning that vulnerability and strength coexist.

Our Services

Chrysalis offers both individual and group music therapy sessions, with every treatment plan tailored to the unique goals, strengths, and preferences of each client. We believe music creates opportunities for connection, growth, healing, and improved quality of life at every stage of life.

Mental Health

We support adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing mental health challenges. Music therapy can help individuals develop healthy coping skills, improve emotional regulation, reduce stress and anxiety, increase self-awareness, strengthen communication, and build confidence in a safe, supportive environment.

Outpatient Programs

We collaborate with outpatient mental health and behavioral health programs to complement existing treatment plans. Sessions may focus on emotional expression, social connection, stress management, relapse prevention, coping strategies, and overall wellness.

Individuals in the Community

We provide individualized music therapy for people seeking support outside of clinical settings. Whether the goal is emotional wellness, personal growth, social connection, cognitive support, or improved quality of life, sessions are designed to meet each person's unique needs.

Inpatient & Residential Treatment Programs

Within residential and inpatient settings, music therapy provides opportunities for emotional processing, self-expression, skill development, group cohesion, and healthy coping while supporting each individual's treatment goals.

The Music Reset

a virtual music-based support group for adults that uses guided listening, reflection, and discussion to support nervous system regulation, emotional expression, and connection.

The Swallowtail Program

Music and Neurodiversity

Swallowtail butterflies are known for diversity of pattern, adaptation, uniqueness and thriving in varied environments.

No two swallowtail patterns are exactly alike, yet each is functional and beautiful.

Neurodivergent Individuals

We work with neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan, including those with autism, ADHD, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and other neurodiverse experiences. Sessions are tailored to each person's strengths and may focus on communication, emotional regulation, social interaction, sensory support, self-advocacy, independence, and meaningful self-expression through music. We also offer adaptive piano and voice lessons.

The Blue Morpho Program

Seniors, Aging Adults, Memory Care

The blue morpho butterfly symbolizes beauty across the life span, reflection, illumination, presence, and depth

Blue morphos appear differently depending on light and angle. That can symbolize how identity and memory remain present even when expression changes.
